Please join Deaf-Blind Service Center in celebrating Deaf-Blind Awareness Week with our first annual TACTILE FASHION SHOW.  This unique event will be held Saturday, June 28 from 11:30am to 3:00pm at the fabulous Triple Door located at 216 Union Street in downtown Seattle.

Ticket price is $65 and includes a buffet luncheon catered by the award winning Wild Ginger Restaurant.  Non-alcoholic beverages are complementary and a “No-Host Bar” will be available for those who would like to purchase beer, wine or cocktails.

Fashions are provided by Fashion Bug which carries women’s clothing from today’s newest trends to casual, comfortable basics.  Fashion Bug offers something for everyone in plus, misses, juniors and girls sizes.  Pure comfort, great fit and exceptional value.  Women you know and love from the Deaf-Blind, Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing and interpreter communities will be modeling the fashions which will also include jewelry, purses, wraps and shoes.

So join us June 28 and take advantage of the great sales and discount coupons available for clothing and accessories.  Bring your friends and family to celebrate Deaf-Blind Awareness Week and support DBSC in their mission to bring support and services to the Deaf-Blind community.

Tickets are available for purchase through the DBSC website using our donation form* or contact Angela Theriault at atheriault@hsdc.org or Merrilee Avila at merrilee_avila@keybank.com.

*Important! If you are purchasing ticket through the DBSC site please type in the comment portion of the form "Tactile Fashion Show"!

Included this blurb below from the Fashion Bug website.  They support an annual award and the woman listed below was one of the winners.  I thought her foundation supporting college students with disabilities or a minority might be of interest to some Deaf-Blind college students, especially those focused on business.
