DBSC's Bumper Sticker for Sale

The more we think about how important the power of touch is in our community; therefore we want to promote it!

According to various dictionaries, Tactile defines as:

  • Perceptible to the sense of touch; tangible.
  • Used for feeling.
  • Of, relating to, or proceeding from the sense of touch; tactual.

In general and many cultures throughout the world, we need the touch to survive on earth.

Tactile helps us to get the feeling of everything that associates with how we live such as doing what most non-deafblind people would do: cooking, doing tasks at our occupations, and hobbies.

However, our most valued moments in our lives would be the conversations with people. Tactile is not limited to the touching in order to communicate but to feel, sense, and better relate to people.

Theresa Smith, who have been communicating with Deaf-Blind people for over 30 years, have written several books on Deaf-Blindnesses. In her book, she explained that...

  • ... The Deaf-Blind linguaculture is still evolving...
  • Today most Deaf-Blind people communicate tactually not by using fingerspelling but by using a tactual form of Sign Language.
  • Fortunately, the community is growing and tactile language is evolving.

Theresa Smith's book can be purchased through website and please click here to the order form at Sign Media company.

So, we need your help by promoting many hidden and unknown treasures and benefits of being a Pro-Tactile supporter! How you can help is very easy.

Please open the attached order form to get the bumper sticker ordered and mailed to you.
